Mauritania Adventure: Dunes & Ancient Cities

Mauritania

I've always dreamed of the Sahara, and I'm finally going! This September I'm heading to Mauritania for a week of exploring the otherworldly landscapes of the Adrar plateau, from the sweeping dunes of Chinguetti to the mysterious ruins of Oualata. I want to camel trek, sleep under the stars, and get lost in the old town's labyrinthine streets. I'm a solo traveler from the US, and I'd love a couple of buddies to join me on this epic journey. I'm flexible on dates and happy to plan together. Let's create some unforgettable memories!

Malaysia in Nov: Food, Rainforests & Urban Vibes

Malaysia

Just booked flights to Malaysia for mid-November, and I'm buzzing! Planning to hit Kuala Lumpur for the Petronas Towers and street food, then head to Penang for George Town's street art and hawker stalls. Also hoping to squeeze in a day trip to the Cameron Highlands for some jungle trekking and tea plantations. I'm a solo traveler who loves mixing city energy with nature, and I'm looking for a companion or two to share the adventure, split costs, and try as many dishes as possible. If you're flexible, open-minded, and enjoy wandering without a strict plan, let's connect! Travel dates are around Nov 10-14, but I can adjust a bit.

Suriname: Jungle, History, and Creole Flavors

Suriname

Paramaribo's Dutch colonial architecture has been calling my name, and I'm determined to finally taste authentic pom and roti from a local market. I want to hike to the Raleighvallen waterfalls and maybe spot some sloths. I'm a history buff who loves street food and wandering aimlessly. If you're equally curious about this hidden gem, let's connect and plan an adventure together!

Chasing waterfalls & chimps in Uganda – join my slow travel stint!

Uganda

I'm a digital nomad plotting a September escape to Uganda for some serious nature therapy. Picture this: trekking through Bwindi's misty rainforest to hang with mountain gorillas (bucket list, right?), then getting lost in the vibe of Lake Bunyonyi's terraced hills. I'll be working remotely from Jinja for a bit – yes, that means laptop time, but also kayaking the Nile and swapping stories over local rolexes. I'm looking for a fellow adventurer who gets the whole work-travel balance thing. Let's split costs on a safari and maybe a cooking class. If you're easygoing, love hiking, and need a break from tourist traps, hit me up!

Dubai nightlife in your 30s: Less chaos, more qual

Dubai nightlife in your 30s: Less chaos, more quality! Instead of the exhausting, till-dawn club queues of our 20s, I now have a much more refined and enjoyable routine: Marina Nights: Having drinks at Pier 7 against the sparkling Marina skyline, or enjoying the laid-back vibes at a chic lounge along the JBR beachfront, is my absolute favorite way to unwind. City Walk Rhythm: When I want to dial up the energy a bit, my go-to is City Walk. Those boutique nightclubs and trendy spots hidden away in its European-style open-air streets are perfect for catching great DJ sets without the overwhelming crowd. Stepping away from the over-the-top luxury shows; it's all about good music, great cocktails, and quality conversations. The perfect dose of a Dubai night.

A quick journey through time, right in the heart of history and architecture. Spending a wonderful day at Vajdahunyad Castle, which looks straight out of a fairy tale book. If you ever visit Budapest, don't leave without seeing this place and taking a breather by the lake.

Today, we visited the zoo in Leipzig, Germany. It was incredibly well-planned and beautifully designed. Every single section felt like a completely different adventure and was stunning in its own way. Entry was €20 per person, and there was an optional boat tour inside for an extra €3.50. They also had nice cafes and small, restaurant-style places where the prices were quite reasonable for a venue like this. It’s absolutely a fantastic choice for families!

I went to Magic City in Tashkent yesterday and it was amazing! Highly recommended for families visiting the city. There’s everything inside for both kids and adults to have a great time. I thought the prices were pretty affordable too (though that might vary from person to person).
